## Four things drive the cost of a bathroom remodel: tile, shower glass, plumbing and vanities.

Every bathroom prices differently, and these four choices do most of the moving.

### Tile

How much wall you cover matters more than the tile you pick. Floor to ceiling tile takes more material and more labor than a tub surround.

### Shower glass

Frameless glass looks great and costs the most. Framed glass costs less. Each one is measured and made for your exact shower.

### Moving plumbing

Keeping the toilet, sink and shower where they are saves real money. Moving them means new drain and supply lines. We tell you honestly when it’s worth it.

**How long does a bathroom remodel take? +**

It depends on what we’re changing. A simple update goes fast. Moving walls or plumbing takes longer. We give you a written schedule before work starts, and we keep you posted the whole way.

**Do I need a permit to remodel my bathroom in Sacramento? +**

Often, yes. Moving plumbing, electrical or walls usually needs a permit. We handle the permits and the inspections for you. That’s part of the job, so you never stand in a permit line.

**Can we still use a bathroom during the remodel? +**
